Introducing the Inter Island Sheep Breeder's Association
(IISBA) 2006 Series Of
Practical Sheep Management Information Sessions
The Inter Island Sheep Breeders’ Association is pleased to present the first of our 2006 series of practical sheep management information sessions. Both new and experienced shepherds will find something to benefit their flocks and sheep enthusiasts of all ages are encouraged to attend. The value in these sessions will be not only from the specific topic being discussed but also by the dialog and sharing of its participants.
Lorraine & John Buchanan have kindly offered their farm for this first information session. February is lambing time at the Buchanan farmstead. Come join us to observe lambing and discuss other pre and post lambing practices. You are also welcome to stay around for the rest of the day when they be taking lambs out to their various fields (local). Bring a bagged lunch and join us for more interesting discussions.
Please wear clean footwear that is suitable for disinfection in a footbath.
